Overview

USC Clinical Rheumatology Update: Focus on RA, PSA, Gout, Lupus and Rare Rheumatological Disorders is designed to provide rheumatologists and primary care physicians with up-to-date information on how to recognize, diagnose, treat and follow common rheumatologic conditions. Distinguished faculty will give didactic lectures on disease-specific topics including: the diagnosis and treatment of RA, PSA, gout and Osteoporosis. The role of imaging of these disorders with radiological techniques will be reviewed. An in-depth exploration of autoimmunity will be presented. The educational format includes case studies and panel discussions, allowing participants the opportunity to attain and integrate new, practical information into their clinical practices to improve patient care and outcomes.   


This year we will expand our audience and content through the following: First we will add simultaneous Spanish language with certified interpreters. This will allow expansion of program to Central and South America. Secondly, quarterly content allowing us to go deeper into analysis of key areas in rheumatology including RA, axial spondylarthritis, Lupus, and soft tissue rheumatological disorders.

The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Cancellations must be received by the USC Office of CME (fax or email) no less than 3 days (12:00 pm PST) before the course for a refund. In support of health care professionals' need for flexibility during COVID-19, cancellation fees are waived for a full refund. In the event of course cancellation by conference organizers, all registration fees will be fully refunded.

In the event of course cancellation, all registration fees will be fully refunded. USC will not refund any travel costs incurred.
