Overview
This program will focus on providing the attendee an update on the latest aspects of ophthalmic best practices across the field, research updates regarding recently approved therapists for ophthalmic disease, and research updates regarding pipeline therapists that may soon be available.


Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify and discuss the most recent techniques in the management of ocular conditions
  2. Apply current research findings to improve diagnosis and management of patients with a variety of ocular diseases in the general ophthalmology clinic.
  3. Examine the benefits of preventative medicine in the management of degenerative ocular disease.
  4. Examine the efforts used to mitigate the severity of, or to regenerate the function lost due to degenerative ocular diseases.

Accreditation
The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California designates this Live Activity activity for a maximum of 7.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received by the USC Office of CME by email only by June 22, 12:00 pm PDT for a refund. A $50 cancellation fee will be applied for requests received after June 22. In the event of course cancellation by conference organizers, all registration fees will be fully refunded. USC will not refund any travel costs incurred.
