Our 6th Annual Practical Urology conference covers advanced robotic, open, endo-urologic, endoscopic, image-targeted, focal therapy, microsurgical, prosthetic, reconstructive surgeries, and their complications, as well as medical therapies covering the entire range of urology. We feature semi-live surgeries, hands-on training, master classes, lectures, debates, and interactive panel discussions.

Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. • Identify and assess the latest guideline–based surgical and medical oncologic management strategies for urologic malignancies, including kidney, prostate, bladder, penile, and testis cancer.
  2. • Examine and discuss contemporary benign urologic conditions in the field of female pelvic health, reconstruction, stone disease, benign prostate hyperplasia, pediatric urology, male infertility, and prosthetics.
  3. • Interpret the techniques of various surgical procedures and important controversies in the field of urology that have relevance to day-to-day practice.
  4. • Compare the emerging applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, including clinical documentation, digital therapeutics, wearables, visualization & computer vision, generative AI, radiology, pathology, and considerations on ethics and guidelines.
  5. • Learn from AI leaders in academia in regards to currently available AI tools and software that is of daily practical interest and usage in the contemporary practice of medicine.

Accreditation
The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received by the USC Office of CME (fax or email) by January 26, 2023 at 12:00pm PDT for a refund. A $50 cancellation fee will be applied. In the event of course cancellation by conference organizers, all registration fees will be fully refunded. USC will not refund any travel costs incurred.
