Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Illustrate the general principles of diagnosis, treatment and management of pituitary tumors, including acromegaly, Cushing's disease, prolactinomas and nonfunctioning pituitary tumors.
  2. Evaluate and select the appropriate diagnostic test to confirm the diagnosis of pituitary tumors and related pituitary disorders.
  3. Recognize the difficulties in the diagnosis and interpretation of test results in pituitary rumors and related pituitary disorders.
  4. Describe the clinical, radiologic and pathological definition of an aggressive pituitary tumor and discuss management options for patients.
  5. Review the anatomy of the pituitary region and anterior skull base and discuss the advantages of endoscopic endonasal surgery for pituitary tumors.

Accreditation
The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California designates this Live Activity activity for a maximum of 5.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received by the USC Office of CME by email only by October 24, 2023 at 12:00 pm PDT for a refund. A $50 cancellation fee will be applied. In the event of course cancellation by conference organizers, all registration fees will be fully refunded. USC will not refund any travel costs incurred.
