Samy Metyas MD, MSc, FACR, FACP

Dr Metyas is a board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and he finished his medical school and a Master’s Degree in orthopedic surgery From Egypt. He is a medical director of Covina Arthritis clinic in Covina, CA. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Southern California (USC), President of California Rheumatology Alliance and past-president of Southern California Rheumatology Society.

Dr. Metyas has multiple publications in renowned peer review journals and Co-Editor in chief in Current Rheumatology Review Journal.

He received multiple honorable awards including a recognition award from Covina city Mayor. Awarded as a Super Doctor by Los Angeles Magazine for Southern California yearly since 2016.   He was also a recipient of The United States House of Representatives Certificate of Congressional Recognition as well as The California State Senate Certificate of Recognition and The County of Los Angeles Commendation.

He is a national and international speaker for many pharmaceutical companies and international meetings.
