Brief Bio: Laila Al-Marayati, MD

Dr. Laila Al-Marayati is the Chief of the Division of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Gynecology Sub-Specialties in the Department of Ob-Gyn at the Keck School of Medicine.  She divides her time between the private practice at Verdugo Hills Hospital and her clinical and leadership duties at LA General Medical Center.  Dr. Al-Marayati is committed to providing the highest level of quality, comprehensive reproductive healthcare to women at all stages of life.  She teaches residents and medical students, with a particular interest in surgical training.  Other areas of interest and expertise include menopause management as well as the care of women who have undergone female genital cutting.  She completed her undergraduate degree at UCLA, medical school at UC Irvine, and her residency at LAC+USC.
