Dr. Kyle Patton is the Medical Director of the HOPE Program at Shasta Community Health Center in Redding California. He has his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah and graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2015. He trained in Family Medicine in Fort Worth Texas at the John Peter Smith Family Medicine Residency program where he served a diverse, underserved patient population. He also completed a supplemental Street Medicine Fellowship where he provided full scope primary care on the street to people experiencing homelessness. Dr. Patton’s diverse skill set and strong belief to “meet people where they are at” helps him be viewed as a resource and an advocate by the patients on the street. Dr. Patton believes strongly in operating a harm reduction, client focused program at SCHC.
